FAQ's FAQ's

1. My community does not have a gym. Can I use a gym in another Wasl community with an NOC?

No. You may only use fitness facilities that are designated for your residential community and permitted under your lease agreement. An NOC does not grant access to fitness facilities in other Wasl communities.

2. If I train with my coach inside my apartment or villa, do I need an NOC?

No. An NOC is not required if all training sessions take place entirely within your private unit.

However, if you plan to train in any shared facility or common area, such as a gym, swimming pool, park, jogging track, or other community amenities, an approved NOC is required.

3. My friend is a coach and would like to train me in the community gym. Is an NOC required?

Yes. Any person acting as a coach or trainer within Wasl's shared fitness facilities must have an approved NOC before providing coaching services.

4. I am a certified personal trainer and a Wasl tenant. Can I train other Wasl tenants without an NOC?

No. The tenant receiving the coaching service must obtain an approved NOC for the trainer before any training sessions can take place within Wasl's fitness facilities or designated common areas.

5. Can I transfer my existing NOC to a different coach?

No. NOCs are issued for a specific coach and cannot be transferred. If you choose a different coach, you must submit a new NOC application and obtain approval before training can begin.

6. I already have a valid NOC. Do I need to apply again?

No. You may continue using your approved NOC until its expiry date.

Please note:

  • The NOC is valid only until the expiry date shown on the approval.
  • You and your trainer/coach may be asked to present a copy of the approved NOC during security checks.
  • Once the NOC expires, a new application and approval are required before training sessions can continue.
7. My doctor recommended exercising with a physiotherapist. Do I still need an NOC?

Yes. If a physiotherapist will accompany you or provide exercise, rehabilitation, or fitness-related services within a Wasl gym or fitness facility, an approved NOC is required before access can be granted.

8. Will my NOC be renewed automatically when it expires?

No. NOCs are not renewed automatically.

If you wish to continue training with your coach, trainer, or physiotherapist after the NOC expires, you must submit a new application and obtain approval.

Until the new NOC is approved, coaching or training activities within the facility are not permitted.

9. Do I need an NOC if my coach trains me in community parks, jogging tracks, or other shared areas?

Yes. An NOC is required for any coaching or training activity conducted in common areas, including:

  • Community parks
  • Green spaces
  • Jogging tracks
  • Shared recreational areas
  • Fitness facilities
10. Who is eligible to apply for this service?

This service is available to tenants residing in communities that offer shared fitness facilities, including gyms and/or swimming pools.

11. Are there any renewal fees?

The approval is valid for 180 days from the date of issuance.

Once the NOC expires, you may submit a new application if you wish to continue using the service. Any applicable fees will be charged according to the approved NOC process at the time of application.
